Family support providers working at San Francisco non-profit community based organizations (CBOs) such as Family Resource Centers, clinics, childcare centers, philanthropy/charity, social services, as well as other interested members of the community are invited to attend one of two input sessions for the upcoming San Francisco Family Resource Center (SF FRC) Initiative Request for Proposals (RFP). The SF FRC Initiative has offered family support services to families of children birth to 17 since 2008 through a system of 26 funded non-profit centers who serve 13 neighborhoods and 8 city wide populations at approximately $15M per year. CBO providers attending the input session will learn about and provide input on proposed service and structural changes to the FRC initiative to begin July 1, 2024.
The San Francisco Department of Early Childhood will use the input received to inform the final development and structure of the RFP for the next funding cycle of the initiative. The RFP is anticipated to be released in late Summer 2023.
